MISSION STATEMENT

From: Illustrious Commander-in Chief

To: Grand Inspector Generals and Sublime Princes of Robert W. Brown Consistory #378

Sublime Princes of the Robert W. Brown, it is indeed an honor and a privilege to serve as your Commander-In-Chief. My vision for the ensuing year is to perpetuate and propagate the Scottish Rite in North San Diego County.

As a Consistory we shall prioritize Masonic education while enhancing our presence in the local community. A consistory by definition is supposed to be a gathering of ecclesiastical persons for the purpose of administering justice or transacting business. We have a responsibility to aid in the reformation of mankind by performing our duty to bring order out of chaos. A time of restoration and rebirth is upon our Consistory and society as a whole in this post-pandemic world. For a period of time we were forced into a sedentary state and that time is over. We must arm ourselves with knowledge in order to combat the enemies of freemasonry in the form of despotism, fanaticism and ignorance. As a Consistory we shall perform no less than (2) fundraisers for the ensuing year, conduct no less than (2) community relations here within the San Diego North County area. We know that with the passionate support of all Fraters we will achieve all of this and have the desired impact in our communities.

In closing, I want to thank every member of Robert W. Brown #378 for the opportunity to be in this position of leadership. I am mindful that I stand on the shoulders of giants and that I have been entrusted with the continuity and destiny of our Consistory. I am also aware that this our Consistory and our vision for a brighter future will lead to a better tomorrow.

Kadari Shortridge,  32°                                              COMMANDER-IN-CHIEF
